January 22 Comments - re: invested
Interesting Musing today, as usual. Perhaps a bit more poignant as I too reflect on the "bashing" that my investments took yesterday - let alone for the last few weeks! Oh well, "Freedom 75" does have a nice ring to it, don't you think? Thankfully, your analysis of assets, income, etcetera brings the truly important "things" in life back into focus. I am particularly taken by your comment "an illusive pretty butterfly on the hand is worth holding steady for". I couldn't agree more! Keep on Musing - and enjoying the truly finer things in life. True, reality is what is, so even the reality of shifting sand qualifies. Our days vary in their brightness, in both a subjective and objective way. Value is subjective unless you try to sell what you value, but who cares about that in the face of what it means to you?
