January 22 Comments - re: invested


Interesting Musing today, as usual. Perhaps a bit more poignant as I too reflect on the "bashing" that my investments took yesterday - let alone for the last few weeks! Oh well, "Freedom 75" does have a nice ring to it, don't you think? Thankfully, your analysis of assets, income, etcetera brings the truly important "things" in life back into focus. I am particularly taken by your comment "an illusive pretty butterfly on the hand is worth holding steady for". I couldn't agree more! Keep on Musing - and enjoying the truly finer things in life. True, reality is what is, so even the reality of shifting sand qualifies. Our days vary in their brightness, in both a subjective and objective way. Value is subjective unless you try to sell what you value, but who cares about that in the face of what it means to you? Your financial statement is exemplary and should be used as a template for all of us, EG, Calgary
