May 24, 2007 – responses

Although I can no longer see the sun rise nor the evening sunset; I sense the sand blasting mixed with the lotions. Feeling the warmth of your voice and descriptions, makes the darkness easier to accept. I am blind and hearing impaired, classified deafblind. It happened in 2000. I have had to learn all over again the joys of life from a different perspective. The wind in my hair, the warmth of the sun, the songs of the birds, the comfort of silence along with the hussle of Calgary. The sharp tongue of youth, the wonders of symphony, the real meaning to the written words. The harshness of winter and its hidden beauty, "T", WT, Calgary

How's the Promise Land? Hope all is going well for you in paradise. Heard one of the Vocanoes is once again errupting. Hope there are no parallels in that!!! My life continues as a Gong Show...no changes here. Do you ever think that perhaps we delve too deeply into an issue/a situation & totally overanalyze...to the point of provocation in others. You are by nature a very analytical individual ..maybe just be still & thoughtful & enjoy the moment. Truly hope you are having a restful holiday. Think of you often..., JH, Kelowna

Gee Mark … I was afraid the vibe I picked up from your last couple of Musings was right … truthfully my heart fell when I got the impression things were not progressing as you hoped (or fantasized might be a better word) … The upside are the “lessons” … sometimes that really is “all there is” … as the song goes. Based on your readers’ comments, know that at least many people from hither and yon are living vicariously with you there in God’s country (have you peeked under your bed to see how crowded it is?) Enjoy …You clearly are making the most of it …, BBB, San Diego
