Aloha! You sound very relaxed and well rested. The pictures are outstanding making everyone wish they were there seeing what you are seeing. I have always wanted to go to Maui but a fear of flying since I was a little girl has kept me from going. So when friends and colleagues go there they send lots of pictures so I can enjoy the scenery. I hope you took lots of pictures so you can share with all when your back. Have a safe and pleasant flight home. MJ, Calgary

Will miss your musings and pictures from Maui - your vivid descriptions and awesome pictures has provided a vicarious break for me too! I don't receive your musings everyday but have noticed a big change in your writings from before your vacation to now - from frenetic to calm - Maui has obviously been good for you!, AK, Calgary

Hi Mark - Sorry it is your next to the last day already. Maybe now you understand the feeling the first time after 35 years of waiting that I got to STAY here in Maui while everyone else left. You have a good dream, and someday you will be able to jump in feet first and really allow yourself to get truly wet. First you have to trust, even tho I know from intensely personal episodes that trust comes after a long time of not... Then you have to let go, and let nature perform its miracles, and the laws of true buoyancy take over. Then you can feel every little ebb and flow, every nuance, every temperature variation, every rush and soothe, every give and take, and truly be one with everything. Till then, you can walk on the shore every day, and only be an observer... if that is all there was, life wouldn't be so exciting... total immersion is all, and a true awakening of all sights, all sounds and all feelings that flow every day whether we are here or elsewhere, and they are here flowing without us unless we choose to be here. Think about it, and then choose. All the opportunity in the world is at your fingertips... JUMP IN NOW before you forget the thrill of giving it up ... Make it happen, don't blame anything else for your inaction, only you can jump. Aloha, NB, Maui and points west...

Loved musings today. You're becoming more and more poetic - more spontaneous. Imagined myself along for the walk today... Thanks for everything. Have a wonderful departure day, CB, Calgary
